Urgent fault? Call before 2pm.
We keep two slots open every weekday for urgent faults. Call before 2pm and we’ll usually be with you today. We won’t pretend to be a 24/7 operation — but between 7:30 and 5:30, we move fast.
Callout: £115 for the first 90 minutes, then £68/hour, inc. VAT. Same rate as any other day.
Is it us you need? A 30-second triage.
Call us
- A burning smell from a socket, switch or the fusebox
- A breaker or RCD that trips and won’t reset
- Part or all of the house without power while neighbours have it
- Buzzing, crackling or scorch marks anywhere electrical
- Water where electricity lives — leak over a light fitting or fusebox
Call 105 instead
The whole street is dark, or your smart meter shows no supply coming in at all. That’s a network problem — 105 is the free national number that connects you to your network operator. No electrician can fix a power cut.
Call 999 first
Flames, smoke you can see, or anyone who has had an electric shock and is unwell. Fire brigade first, then us once everyone is safe. Electricity can wait; those things can’t.
While you wait for us
- If something smells hot, switch the circuit off at the fusebox and leave it off.
- Don’t keep resetting a breaker that keeps tripping — it’s telling you something.
- Unplug what you can on the affected circuit; it speeds up our diagnosis.
- If water is involved, turn the affected circuit off and keep people away until we arrive.
