Questions we actually get asked
Is wired networking still worth it with modern Wi-Fi?
For anything that sits still — TV, desk, console, access points — yes, every time. Wi-Fi is for things that move. The best mesh systems are the ones wired back to the router, which is exactly what we install.
Will smart switches confuse guests or the babysitter?
Not the ones we fit. Everything works as a normal switch first; the smart features sit on top. If a system only works from an app, we won’t install it.
Can you fix our terrible Wi-Fi without a full network?
Usually. Often it’s one well-placed wired access point, not a whole system. We measure the house rather than selling boxes.
Which smart heating control do you recommend?
Depends on your boiler and habits — there’s no single answer, and anyone with one answer is selling that brand. Jack fits several and will match one to how you actually heat the house.
Do you set it all up, or just wire it?
Set up, on your own accounts, tested with your phones, and handed over properly. Wiring that’s never configured is just expensive copper.
